As sunshine has returned to Los Angeles, I had to reflect and enjoy the real sunshine vs. the liquid sunshine.Most of you are familiar with the term “Texas- sized”? I am all about repurposing food, learned it from my mother.... having been rich and poor, the roller coaster ride of leaving Hungary and stopping in Austria and heading to the United States, I learned to be frugal and make food go a long way. The other day I bought some crab Leggs and Diane, and I had a great appetizer for the main course. Needless to say, we had a little left over. Not enough to share as an appetizer hence I decided to make a salad.
